Living in the small coastal town of Hunt’s Cove, Maine, working in a small accounting office, and following a monotonous routine, Tom was utterly bored. He dreamed of adventure; he dreamed of ‘more’.

Unfortunately, ‘more’ came to Tom in a very unexpected way. It started out as mundane as the rest of his existence, with the arrival of a new coffee company in town giving his office a free Keurig machine and sample coffee pods. Little single-serve pods in a little accounting office; such a small thing… But much like seed pods blowing in the breeze, sometimes small innocuous appearing things grow to be so much more.

What starts out as simple coffee at the office quickly leads to an archaeological mystery that has spanned more than 400 years, as well as some of the deepest secrets of particle physics. As Tom and his friends fight to save their small town, they soon learn that the universe is much more complicated than they ever imagined. Through it all, one thing’s for certain – Tom will never be bored again.
