What is the Indie Author Bookstore?
The Motivated Savages Indie Author Bookstore is a curated discovery platform featuring independently published books across a growing range of genres.
The goal is simple: help readers discover indie books and the authors behind them.
Does Motivated Savages sell the books?
No. Motivated Savages does not sell the books listed in the Indie Author Bookstore.
Each listing directs readers to a purchasing or information link selected for that book, which may include Amazon, an author’s website, another retailer, or another external platform.
Does Motivated Savages publish books?
No. Motivated Savages is not a publisher.
The Indie Author Bookstore is a discovery platform that helps readers find independently published books and connects them with the authors and places where those books are available.
Is the bookstore free for indie authors?
Yes. Listing a book in the Motivated Savages Indie Author Bookstore is free.
Authors do not pay a listing fee to have an accepted book included in the bookstore.
Can indie authors submit their books?
Absolutely.
Indie authors can submit books through the Indie Author Book Submission form on the website. Submissions are reviewed before books are added to the shelves.
What kinds of books are in the bookstore?
A lot.
The bookstore includes fiction and nonfiction across a wide range of shelves, including Romance, Fantasy, Mystery, Thriller & Suspense, Horror, Science Fiction, Young Adult, Children’s, Poetry, Memoir, Narrative Nonfiction, and more.
The easiest way to explore is to pick a shelf and wander.
How are books organized?
Books are organized first by major genre shelves and, on many shelves, into smaller categories designed to make browsing easier.
Some books may appear in more than one appropriate place when they genuinely cross genres or appeal to different types of readers.
Are the books reviewed or endorsed by Motivated Savages?
Books are reviewed for inclusion and placement in the bookstore, but a listing should not be interpreted as a personal review or endorsement of every book.
Information such as descriptions, genres, book covers, and content notes may be supplied by authors or other authorized sources.
I’m already listed. Can I submit another book?
Yes. Authors with books already in the bookstore are welcome to submit additional titles.
I found something incorrect in my listing. What should I do?
Please reach out. With a growing bookstore and hundreds of indie titles, an extra set of eyes is always welcome.
