A stolen box and magical stone reveal a family secret.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Find the box. Retrieve the stone. Defeat the demons.
A stolen box. A family secret.
When a shoplifter steals a mysterious trinket box from twelve-year-old Odilia Murphy’s family antique store, she’s convinced it’ll be the biggest problem she’ll face in seventh grade. Then she learns the Murphy secret—magic is real and not everyone she knows is human. And her family? It’s their job to track and send interdimensional demons to a magical prison sealed by twelve enchanted stones.
After Odilia is stalked by two demons who believe she has one of the enchanted stones, she discovers that secrets and lies can quickly spiral out of control. With help from her best friends, she devises a plan to find the stone and steal it back. But when her friends are kidnapped and her family goes missing, she’ll need more than magic to save them and retrieve the stone before it falls into demon hands and changes her world forever.
