In Winterberry Hollow, a dark event is an annual tradition, concealed beneath the garland and lights. The secret belongs only to the wealthy founding family’s elders. Their grandchildren receive a letter, a chilling invitation from a shadowy figure by the name of Father Christmas. A chance to be put back on the “Nice” list, to be given all the goodness those of pure heart receive. But it’s a dangerous and intense trail to gain entrance onto the list. And the punishment is just as dark. If they do not succeed, then by Christmas night, their souls will be forever transformed into a glass ornament to be hung on Father Christmas’s tree for all of eternity.
