Elliot, the reserved neighbor with a complicated past, adds emotional depth and an undercurrent of suspicion that kept me questioning his intentions. Farmer Dan’s presence only adds to the unease.

The slow burn romance between Rachelle and Elliot develops naturally through shared moments and growing trust, adding warmth and emotional tension to the darker aspects of the story. By the time everything comes together, the suspense hits hard. The ending was a complete wow, and this feels like a strong start to a series. I cannot wait for the next book, Coasted!”
