In the traditional family model, the dad is expected to be everything for their family. But they can’t show any emotion, nothing. They have to solve everything. And be selfless. In a sense, this expectation is weakened in modern society. But the sentiment still remains on not being able to talk or speak on your issues, which leads to them bottling up and exploding, hence the ending of this book.
