Motivated Savages was founded by Jody Savage, an author, leadership professional, and creator who is passionate about helping people think bigger and live with intention.
What began as a growth and mindset has grown into a platform that now includes:

The Indie Author Bookstore was created to support independent authors by giving their books visibility and connecting readers directly to the author’s preferred purchase links.
The project is built on a simple idea
Community over competition.
Today the bookstore features more than 500 independently published titles from over 375 authors across multiple genres, and it continues to grow through author submissions and reader discovery.
Our Mission
Motivated Savages exists to inspire bold thinking, support independent creators, and build a community where readers, writers, and leaders grow together.
Through storytelling, conversation, and curated discovery, the platform helps people challenge assumptions, expand their thinking, and pursue meaningful paths forward.
What started as a mindset podcast has grown into a platform supporting hundreds of independent authors and thousands of curious readers.
About the Founder
Jody Savage
Founder, Motivated Savages | Author | SPHR
With over a decade of progressive strategic Human Resources leadership experience, Jody holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and has spent her career helping organizations build strong cultures, develop leaders, and support people in reaching their potential.
In addition to her corporate leadership work, Jody is an author and podcast host. She created Motivated Savages as a platform to explore the ideas that shape growth, leadership, and personal transformation.
